Fifty shades of green

food, clean eats, and food porn afbeelding
You know how sometimes you decide to quickly scroll through your Pinterest feed and end up in the deep dark pits of creativity? Yeah, so that happened to me a couple of weeks ago, when I was "researching" healthy recipes (aka I clicked on the wrong link and was too lazy to switch to the correct one). I stumbled across a recipe for a vegetable juice that was meant to shred fat like crazy. Now, I don't think I need to lose weight or anything, but fat shredding sounded awesome at the time, so I did a little more research. Juicing is a quick and easy way to get your daily intake of fruits and veggies, especially when you're a toddler like me who isn't the biggest fan of greens.

I went out a couple of days later and bought myself a brand spanking new juicer! It's so much work to clean it afterwards, but the juice is really yummy and it's worth it if I don't have to eat that much vegetables after I've drank it...

That first day I made two juices, the first one a pretty sweet one and the other a hardcore green one. Today I'm going to share the green one which I have named: Fifty shades of green. Yes, I know I'm hilarious. Smh.

What you're going to need:
- One apple
- Half a cucumber
- Half a lemon
- Three large handfuls of spinach (don't worry, you can't actually taste the spinach once it's all mixed together)

That's all. Easy right? Now you're just going to cut everything into bitesized pieces and push it through your juicer and voila! A lovely green juice!

If you don't have a juicer, you can also throw all the fruits and veggies in a blender and wizz it for a couple of minutes with a little bit of water and then strain the thick juice. You'll be left with about the same juice as you'd get with a juicer.

Juicing makes me feel like a LA girl, I love it. Are you going to join me in the juicing trend?
